Blood Moon Eclipse 2015

We had a wonderful view of the full blood moon eclipse of 2015. There is close to zero light pollution at our location so a clear night is spectacular for star gazing.  On a clear night, not only can you see gadzillions of stars, but you can also spot dozens of satellites reflecting the Sun's light as they quickly move from horizon to horizon.

It was a lovely night for the eclipse. We had a couple of neighbors over on the south deck, lit a fire in the fire pit and sat back for a couple of hours to enjoy this rare event.

Below are a few photos we took with an inexpensive digital camera - don't expect to be impressed with the quality - but worth sharing.
